Lightning on a Mountain is always fun!

We visited my cousin Deidre in Georgia and she wanted to take us to the top of Bell Mountian.  The only problem was when we got there they were closing the mountain because of a storm that was coming.  Should we park and walk up, sounds like a good idea right?  Ha!

About 1/2 way up Deidre said she was going back to the car and the rest of us (Cameron, Shannon, Ryan, and Angie) kept going.  We made it up and back just in time for the storm to come rolling in!

Thanks, Deidre! ๐Ÿ’–Shan

Officially Full-timers!

Loving our new annual spot! We are now officially full-timers! Well, at least until the kids settle down and start their families. Then maybe we will move in with them? ๐Ÿคฃ

Rose Bowl 2019 - Ohio State University vs University of Washington

EXCITING DAY!!! This is the game my brother Shane and I always wanted to go to!!! Ohio State Buckeyes vs University of Washington the Tournament of Roses - Rose Bowl Game!

Ryan and I got to take my Momma and I think this was the closure she and I were both looking for. There is nothing that will make it ok that my brother has passed away, but this day made us both realize he is ALWAYS with us.

I feel like Shane was pulling strings making things happen, including perfect parking and an unexpected upgrade to our seats.

Rest in peace big brother!  We all miss you and love you so much!

Time for an upgrade. Already?

After a month-long cross-country trip in the 2019 Winnebago Intent, we decided it just wasn't a good fit for our family. We fell in love with RV life, just not the Class-A Motorhome lifestyle. So, after just over a month of owning the Intent it was off to the dealership we went! The salesman listened to our situation and promptly said he had "the perfect RV for us". Yeah right! Don't they all say that? We thought we had an unobtainable list of wants..... two-bedrooms, 5th wheel, outdoor kitchen, and of course, it MUST be self-leveling! So, good luck buddy!

The salesman opened up the RV he wanted to show us and one of us ๐Ÿ˜œ immediately started to tear up! This one was PERFECT and we couldn't believe it! It had two bedrooms, a fireplace, kitchen island, outdoor kitchen, heated recliners that have a massage option, and more! We were so excited and disappointed at the same time! We wanted it, but we were slightly disappointed that we didn't have these living arrangements during our cross-country road trip. Nonetheless, we decided to make the trade. Goodbye Winnebago and HELLO Grand Design!
