Time for an upgrade. Already?

After a month-long cross-country trip in the 2019 Winnebago Intent, we decided it just wasn't a good fit for our family. We fell in love with RV life, just not the Class-A Motorhome lifestyle. So, after just over a month of owning the Intent it was off to the dealership we went! The salesman listened to our situation and promptly said he had "the perfect RV for us". Yeah right! Don't they all say that? We thought we had an unobtainable list of wants..... two-bedrooms, 5th wheel, outdoor kitchen, and of course, it MUST be self-leveling! So, good luck buddy!

The salesman opened up the RV he wanted to show us and one of us 😜 immediately started to tear up! This one was PERFECT and we couldn't believe it! It had two bedrooms, a fireplace, kitchen island, outdoor kitchen, heated recliners that have a massage option, and more! We were so excited and disappointed at the same time! We wanted it, but we were slightly disappointed that we didn't have these living arrangements during our cross-country road trip. Nonetheless, we decided to make the trade. Goodbye Winnebago and HELLO Grand Design!

The atmosphere is amazing here and what a beautiful place to be! The campground we stayed at was apparently too far for an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi.  There is no chance the motorhome was going to make it downtown so Cameron walked across the street and rented a Uhal! 🤣  It worked out, Uhal and Cameron saved the day!

Nationals Park

I believe this has been Cameron's favorite stadium, so far.  The beer garden was awesome and they had a live band playing.  If you ever visit, you HAVE TO try the mac and cheese topped with pulled pork!

We go into the KOA late and the spot they had for us was WAY too small. We finally called an Uber and made it to the game on time.

I never thought I'd be back here. Ahhhh the smells of Maryland AKA Old Bay Seasoning!!!

We are on quite the stadium tour this month.  Glad we made a short detour to PNC Park. 

Wrigley Field - Brewers vs Cubs

Well, the motorhome doesn't fit in downtown Chicago. So, Cameron parked at some sketchy looking shopping mall and let Ryan and me call an Uber to make it to the game.  Wrigley Field is a very historic ballpark and definitely a unique experience!

Sell your house and just travel! Sounds a little scary, but why not!

So we did!  September 1, 2018, we handed the keys to the new owner of our Mill Creek home and hit the road in our brand new Winnebago Intent with three dogs and three adults.
